KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo City Commissioners are expected to approve a liquor license tonight for the Arcadia Brewing Company’s plans to open a micro-brewery on the river-front, complete with restaurant and brew pub.
The permit if also approved by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission would permit them to have an outside service area and entertainment.
CEO Tim Surprise says they hope to have it open later this month. They are shooting for between Christmas and New Years.
The firm already operates a brewery and brew pub in Battle Creek.
This construction will permit them to greatly expand their production.
