ATLANTA, GEORGIA (WKZO) -- As we reported early Wednesday, that $636 million dollar Mega Millions jackpot will be split between two winners, one in California and another in Georgia. There is also a million dollar winner in West Michigan who bought their ticket at a store in Niles and got five of the numbers right.
The Georgia winner has come forward. Her name is Ira Curry and she is from Stone Mountain, Georgia.
State Lottery CEO Debbie Alford says Curry came forward Wednesday afternoon and announced she would be taking the lump sum, which will be $173-million before taxes.
The winning ticket in West Michigan was sold at Martin's Super Market on 11th Street in Niles, and it was one of just 20 nationwide good for a million dollars.
The winning numbers were 8-14-17-20-39, the Gold Mega Ball was 7.
