MARSHALL (WKZO) -- Enbridge has shut down dredging operations on the Kalamazoo River at Morrow Lake.
The river froze over and for the safety of their men and because of the deal they made with STS which owns and operates the dam, they had to cease operations when the ice came.
Spokesman Jason Manshum says they hope they can resume operations.
The EPA has twice denied their request to extend the deadline beyond December 31st ,which it now appears will be missed by Enbridge.
The federal agency is not commenting on what it plans to do if the deadline is missed.
