KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The New Year will be greeted with some of the coldest air of the season, which is working its way into the Great Lakes States, but first it’s left Minnesotans dealing with temperatures of 20 to 30 below.
Temperatures here are in the teens but the wind chill makes it feel like its zero.
By they time the arctic blast gets to us, it has warmed up a bit thanks mainly to Lake Michigan, but its still bitterly cold.
If you are headed out tonight to celebrate the New Year, make sure you dress appropriately.
Forecasters say they expect it to get even colder here next week.
