LANSING (WKZO) -- Michigan's Democratic delegation and United Auto Workers President Bob King are looking for a change in leadership in the Democrat party.
A letter signed by Senators Debbie Stabenow and Carl Levin, along with U.S. Representatives Sander Levin, Gary Peters, John Dingell, John Conyers and Dale Kildee urges Democrats to replace party chairman Mark Brewer. He's been at the helm of the party for 18 years, but many are upset with Democrat losses and crushing defeats on ballot proposals including the collective bargaining last November.
The letter signed by the delegation seeks support for activist Lon Johnson of Kalkaska.
