GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Talk about boosting teacher salaries to 100-thousand dollars has prompted the "Grand Rapids Press" to investigate current salaries around West Michigan.  Citing state data, the paper reports that average salaries ranged from just over 67-thousand dollars in Jenison to just over 53-thousand dollars at Godfrey-Lee.  Minimum salaries started as low as 15-thousand dollars in one county, while maximum salaries came within 100-dollars of the 100-thousand-dollar mark.
