MARSHALL (WKZO) -- Floods have been a problem in Ottawa County where Ice Jams have backed up water on the Grand River, and in other communities where snow melt and heavy rains last week overwhelmed storm sewers and creeks.
It’s been a completely different kind of flood at the Calhoun County’s Administration Building in Marshall where they now estimate that a burst water pipe has done about a million dollars damage. They say the pipe burst on January 4th, a Friday, and they have been drying out the building ever since. They say the building is getting a remodeling and it is all being paid for by the Insurance Company.
