KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO) - The Washington Square Branch of the Kalamazoo Public Library will be closed today to permit a bed bug sniffing dog to go thru their collection to make sure there is no infestation.
The move was prompted by the discovery of a couple of infested books in their returned books bin. Apparently someone was doing some reading before bed time and the bugs got into the books.
They are fairly sure they isolated the problem, bagging up the infested books and disposing of them. They just want to be sure.
They should also be able to trace the source of the infestation, simply by checking on who checked them out last.
