Charges may be filed against an animal hoarder in Battle Creek, who was discovered when a city water crew doing work in the 100 block of Kingman.  They reported a horrible odor coming from the home.  18-cats, two dogs and a rabbit were seized from the home, most of them suffering from a variety of ailments including ear-mites, fleas and other health problems. The two dogs had more serious medical problems.

The woman who lives there with two children says she took in a few strays and it just got out of hand. 

  There are feces everywhere. The home will be condemned and the woman charged with animal neglect.
