LANSING (WKZO) -- The Michigan Senate is tabling a plan by the governor to fix Michigan roads.
Governor Rick Snyder's plan calls for raising roughly 1.2-billion dollars to fix the state's crumbling roads through a higher gas tax and increase in vehicle registration fees. The Senate has publicly come out and showed its displeasure with the plan and will now try to come up with a fix of its own.
For the time being, the governor's proposal is in permanent limbo in the Senate.
