LANSING (WKZO) -- Michigan residents and out-of-state visitors are invited to fish for free throughout the state this weekend.  Anglers can enjoy catching all species of fish on both inland and Great Lakes' waters during Michigan's Winter Free Fishing Weekend.

All fishing license fees are being waived for the two day event, but all fishing regulations still apply.  Some state parks are holding fishing derbies as well, but recreation passes for park entry are required.
