MOTTVILE, MI (WTVB) - The White Pigeon and Coldwater State Police posts are hoping maybe the public saw something late last night that can help them nab an armed robber who stole a bank deposit from a gas station clerk in St. Joseph County’s Motville Township. It happened around 11:15 p.m. at the Stop-N-Go on U.S. 12. The ski-masked bandit confronted the clerk as he was closing the business and headed for his car. The robber forced him back inside the store, ordered him to the ground, ripped off the money and fled the scene. No injuries were reported. The suspect was described as a dark-skinned man, possibly in his early 30’s, about 5-feet 6 inches tall with a thin build and weighing about 160 pounds.
