ROYAL OAK, MI (WKZO) -- Twitter and Facebook are providing the latest details as a home has been reduced to rubble following an explosion in the 4000 block of Cooper Avenue, near Normandy and Woodward in Royal Oak near Metro Detroit. A flurry of activity occured on Twitter following the explosion with residents tweeting:

The explosion apparently leveled the home and WWJ-AM in Detroit is reporting that "there's no more than a vacant lot where a house once stood."
