13th-ranked Michigan State made it six straight wins Tuesday night with a 49-to-47 Big Ten victory at Wisconsin. The outcome keeps the Spartans in first place in the conference with a 6-and-1 league record along with an overall mark of 17-and-3. Keith Appling poured in a game-high 19 points for M-S-U while Branden Dawson added 18 points and 13 rebounds for the Spartans. The Spartans next game is Sunday afternoon at Indiana. Also last night in the Big Ten, number-14 Ohio State beat visiting Iowa 72-to-63. Tonight’s schedule includes Eastern Michigan at Western Michigan.
