KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO) -- Two Kalamazoo Metro Transit Bus Drivers were showered with honors last night for their quick action to save a passenger who had a heart attack.
Transit Director Bill Schomisch says Debby Kerr and Donna Wright dredged their memories for their CPR training and went to work on Joyce Gregory, at a transfer point at the Maple Hill Mall last month.
Debby Kerr says has kept in contact with her family and says the recovery continues. Last night they were saluted by their boss, and by Life E.M.S., Given Public Safety’s Lifesaver medal, and received lifesaver certificates and a voucher for a CPR class from the Red Cross.
