ARLINGTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO) -- It was a big one. A major indoor marijuana growing operation has been busted in Van Buren County. Their narcotics unit got a tip that some of the suspects involved in an indoor plantation they discovered recently, lived in the Bangor area at a specific address.
They obtained a warrant and hit pay dirt. Detectives from Van Buren and Berrien County and an FBI agent, with deputies backing them up, served a warrant in the 55-thousand block of 32nd Ave. and found four separate marijuana growing locations inside. They found 81-plants growing and several pounds of finished marijuana. They also seized two long guns, scales, packaging materials and $800 cash.
No arrests have been made so far but they have identified three suspects, all with Chicago, Illinois addresses.
