UNDATED (WKZO)  --    We have seen just about every kind of precipitation there  in the last 12-hours complete with thunder and lightning, and it created some dangerous driving conditions overnight as snow turned to sleet and freezing rain, producing some crunchy snow. 

All of it is expected to quickly give way this morning as temperatures rise and roadways melt, leaving a sloppy mess, but at least a safer one. 

National Weather Service Meteorologist Paul Collar says then it turned to slush and melted as temperatures continued to rise through the early morning hours.

There could still be slick spots on secondary roads but salt works very well at these temperatures and it shouldn’t be too bad for your morning commute.  Collar says we can expect a brief warm up Tuesday, and then it will be back into the deep freeze on Wednesday.    He says with it, we could see more Lake Effect snow.
