Coldwater, MI (WTVB) - The Community Health Center of Branch County for 2012 had its best year financially since 2005. The hospital’s Board of Trustees learned last night that CHC’s net income last year was $1,058,204, compared to $291,336 in 2011; $272,224 in 2010; and only $29,394 in 2009. The success in 2012 was achieved in spite of a loss of $181,540 in December.

One other set of numbers to crunch: there were nearly 25,000 emergency room visits at the hospital in Coldwater last year, an increase of around a thousand compared to 2011. Last month alone, the ER at the Community Health Center had 2,158 visits for December.
