BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- A 33-year-old Battle Creek woman faces multiple charges after Police say she allegedly tried to run down her ex-boyfriend and her mother with her car, driving up into their yard on Cherry St. to try to get them during a birthday party.
It happened just before 11 p.m. Saturday.
A Battle Creek Police officer witnessed the alleged assault and then gave chase as she failed to stop at several traffic signals, circled around and returned to Cherry Street, where in what may have been a final act of revenge, smashed her car into the ex-boyfriend's vehicle.
She was arrested and held for assault with a motor vehicle, fleeing and eluding, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license. She may be formally charged today.
