When she guest-starred on Cougar Town back in 2010, Sheryl Crow played a wine saleswoman. Now, she's playing that part in real life.
Sheryl has announced a partnership with the California winery Chateau St. Jean [shah-TOE sahn zshon], which not only will promote her music, but also will raise money for some of her favorite charities.
As part of the 18-month promotion, fans will be able to get free downloads of Sheryl's music from the winery's website , and also check out the perfect wine pairings to go with recipes from her cookbook If It Makes You Healthy .
Chateau St. Jean is also donating a dollar from every bottle of wine sold to breast cancer charities during the month of October. Sheryl, a breast cancer survivor, says in a statement, "I am thrilled to partner with a winery that wants to give back. This is a cause very close to my heart and to have the opportunity to team with a winery that shares my same passion is incredible."
