KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo City Commissioners have decided to bring four executive headhunting firms to town for interviews.
At a special Meeting last night held just for that purpose, they reviewed the bids and proposals of the firms that were interested in the job and picked those that looked most promising for interviews.
There is one local firm and three from out of state. They will be scheduled for interviews later this month.
Commissioners are starting over after firing their first search firm because they were disappointed in the candidates they brought to town.
The commission is looking for someone who will be a good fit for Kalamazoo, which they consider to be a special place. They are seeking special candidates.
