DETROIT (WKZO) -- The FBI is saying investigators did not find anything after searching a field north of Detroit for the remains of former Teamsters president Jimmy Hoffa.
The agency acted on a tip from a former mob underboss who claimed Hoffa was buried under a concrete slab where a farm once stood. Hoffa's been missing since 1975. There have been many fruitless searches for the former union leader over the decades.
The tipster claimed to know what happened to Hoffa, but is denying having anything to do with the disappearance.
