GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Grand Rapids police need your help to find a hit and run driver. They say a woman was struck first by a Life Care Ambulance at 28th and Jefferson St. at about 2 a.m. Sunday morning and then thrown into the path of a second car that struck her and fled the scene.
They say the second car is a yellow 1994 Mitsubishi driving by a young man. It has Michigan tags, CMP 7406.They have not released the name of the woman or what she was doing in the middle of the street at that time of night. The ambulance was making a non-emergency run, but its not clear if its lights and siren were on.
