DETROIT (WKZO) -- While water levels in Lakes Huron and Michigan rose two inches last month, levels for all the Great Lakes remain below average.  According to the Army Corps of Engineers, all of the lakes are forecasted to remain below average for the next six months, which will impact recreational boating and commercial shipping.  Officials are asking federal authorities for money from the Harbor Maintenance Trust Fund so ports throughout the Great Lakes can be dredged.
