LANSING (WKZO) -- Legislation overhauling Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is on Governor Snyder's desk.

Snyder vetoed similar legislation last year over language that prohibited abortion coverage without a policyholder purchasing a special optional rider.  That language was not included this time.

Snyder had called for the overhaul despite Attorney General Bill Schuette believing it will negatively impact hundreds of thousands of people in Michigan.
