VALLEY TOWNSHIP, MI  (WKZO) --    Allegan County Detectives may release more information later Monday about the suspicious death of a man in a home in Valley Township.

The body of the 37-year-old man, said to be the tenant at 3987 122^nd Avenue was discovered late Saturday afternoon.

The owner of the home, Curt Conley says he was questioned by police for hours because he was reportedly trying to evict the victim, who had damaged the interior of the home. He says the victim’s name is Jody Snyder, and says he was shot to death.  Police will not confirm that information.  

Detectives were at the scene until early Sunday morning, apparently letting forensic crews go over the house looking for evidence.
