COLON, MI (WTVB) - Fire investigators in the village of Colon are blaming a blaze last weekend that destroyed four downtown businesses on an accidental kitchen fire, specifically a faulty piece of equipment in the kitchen at Papa Mancino’s Restaurant. 

Also destroyed in the flames on March 8^th were a bar, a pizza joint and an insurance agency.  The insurance agency has already set up shop across the street.  The other three businesses will have to check with their insurance agencies to see if they can rebuild.
