AUBURN HILLS (WKZO) -- The Palace at Auburn Hills will be jammed this Thursday and Saturday as both the Wolverines and the Spartans are set to play their opening games in the NCAA Tourney in Michigan. That’s presuming they both win their openers, and make it to Saturday.
Michigan State is the #3 seed in the Midwest and will open against Valparaiso on Thursday.The University of Michigan is the #4 seed in the south and will open Thursday against the South Dakota State Jack Rabbits.
It should mean big supportive crowds for both teams, giving them a boost as they come off disappointing performances in the Big Ten Tournament.
The times for both Michigan games at the Palace are yet to be announced.
