BANGOR, MI  (WKZO) --   The landlord of a home on State Street in Bangor got a surprise when he was cleaning out a rental he owned, getting it ready for the next tenant.  They found a world war-2 style pineapple grenade and a CO-2 cartridge rigged with a fuse left in a bag in the old garage.

The State Police bomb squad was dispatched and removed the items for disposal.  Police are checking their ordinances to see if any crimes were violated, but didn’t think they would find any.  They checked with the previous tenants and they say they had no idea how they got there.
