UNDATED (WKZO) -- A recent Poll done by a republican organization said that Jennifer Granholm would be their most formidable opponent in a race to fill the U.S. Senate Seat now held by Carl Levin, but it doesn’t look like she is interested.
MIRS News is reporting that sources close to Granholm would be shocked if she did. She isn’t exploring it and doesn’t even want to talk about it. Another source says the Senate isn’t her idea of a good time.
They say Granholm is a creature of the executive side of government, which permitted her to work one issue, and then move on to another. They say the slow deliberative process in the U.S. Senate would absolutely drive her nuts.
They say she is more likely waiting for an appointment from the White House whether its in this administration or a future one, should Hilary Clinton be elected President.
