KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO) -- It was a series of crimes that shook the WMU Campus. Last December it appeared the same thieves staged 2 armed hold-ups on the WMU campus, and then moved on to the 7-11 on Michigan Ave. and held it up too.
Yesterday, Antoine Cantrell was given 9 to 25 years in prison after he pled guilty to one count of armed robbery. In exchange for the plea, two other counts were dropped.
Ryan Hattaway has also cut the same plea deal. He will be sentenced in two weeks. Jocelyn Walker will be going to trial on three counts of armed robbery at the end of the month.
All three were captured a few days after the alleged crime spree, after they crashed their vehicle speeding away from a purse snatching at the Walmart in Oshtemo.
