March Madness returns tonight after a 3-day break as the NCAA Men’s Tournament Sweet 16 tips off with 4 games, although Michigan and Michigan State don’t play their regional semi-final contests until tomorrow night. The other two Big Ten teams still in the Big Dance, Indiana and Ohio State, take to the court tonight.
Number-one East seed Indiana plays 4th-seed Syracuse while Number-Two West seed Ohio State goes up against Arizona. Last night, Western Michigan’s season came to an end with a 62-to-52 loss at George Mason in the semi-finals of the College Basketball Invitational. The Broncos finished with a 22-and-13 record. And Northwestern has a new coach. The Wildcats’ job goes to Chris Collins, who is currently an assistant and associate head coach at Duke.
