UPDATE: Sixteen-year-old Xavier Chase Wilson has since been found, located in Monroe, Michigan.
BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- Battle Creek Police are seeking the public's help in locating a 16-year-old runaway.
Sixteen-year-old Xavier Chase Wilson left his residence around 5 p.m. on April 26th, and he was last seen with Chris Mazur on April 28th in the Battle Creek area. Mazur is a Calhoun County parolee, and a parole violation detainer has been issued against him. Wilson is believed to have left on a voluntary basis and is not believed to be in any danger, but police are concerned because they say he has the mental capacity of a twelve-year-old.
Wilson is described as a white male, standing five-feet, one-inch in height with a thin build and blonde hair and a tattoo of his initials, XCW, on his right forearm. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on Wilson's whereabouts is asked to contact Battle Creek Police.
