Despite the Emmy-winning star power of Melissa McCarthy, CBS announced at their upfront on Wednesday that they have bumped her comedy Mike & Molly to midseason. That's the bad news. The good news is that the series has a full 22-episode order from the network. But that isn't the only shake-up happening to the CBS schedule: the drama Person of Interest will now move to Tuesdays, Hawaii Five-0 surfs on over to Fridays, and the network assured there will be fewer reruns in the fall.
Still, the name of the game in the schedule is comedy. Monday and Tuesday nights will both have two-hour comedy blocks that kick off with two of their biggest hits, How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory, respectively.
