Miguel Cabrera's outstanding individual performance wasn't enough as the Tigers fell to the Rangers, 11-8.  Cabrera hit three home runs for the second time in his career to punctuate a 4-for-4 night with four runs scored and five RBI.  David Murphy stroked a go-ahead, three-run homer in the sixth inning for Texas, which took three of four from Detroit.  Lance Berkman, Adrian Beltre and Mitch Moreland each had two RBI.  Reliever Robbie Ross earned the win and Joe Nathan nailed down his 13th save.  Texas is 29-and-15.  Tigers reliever Jose Ortega took his first loss of the season.  Detroit blew leads of 4-1 and 7-5.

The Tigers have today off and open a 2 game series at Cleveland tomorrow night.
