EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) - A week of waiting for the Spartans and Wolverines to strap it up for their rivalry game is nearly over and fans on both sides of the Green-Blue line expect a smash mouth special when Michigan State and Michigan go at it Saturday afternoon in East Lansing. MSU’s nationally top ranked defense has made them a 3-and-a-half point favorite to contain the Michigan offense led by dual threat but turnover-prone quarterback Devin Gardner. For now, the Wolverines have possession of the Paul Bunyan Trophy after their 12-10 decision over the Spartans last year at the Big House. Tomorrow's game is a 3:30 pm kick-off.
Tomorrow’s schedule also includes Notre Dame at home against Navy while Western Michigan has the weekend off. The Week 10 Friday night matchup has USC at Oregon State.
