CHICAGO, IL (WTVB) - The Lions are 2 1/2 point favorites tomorrow against the Bears in Chicago plus the Detroit offense likely won’t have to worry about containing the reigning NFC defensive player of the week. Bears defensive end Shea McClellin, who had 3 sacks in Chicago’s Monday night win at Green Bay, suffered a hamstring injury in practice Thursday and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game. Chicago’s defense already allows an average of 28.2 points a game, fourth most in the league.
Detroit is coming off its bye week to begin the second half of the season with their 5-3 record the same as the Bears and Packers to share the lead in the NFC North. The Lions won their first meeting with Chicago this season 40-32 back in Week 4 at Ford Field.
