AUBURN HILLS, MI (WTVB) -The Detroit Pistons fell to the Hawks 96-89 last night at The Palace of Auburn Hills, giving Atlanta a sweep in the home-n-home series which saw the Hawks down Detroit by 8 on Wednesday in Atlanta. Andre Drummond had 15 points and 16 rebounds last night for the Pistons, who were led in scoring by Kyle Singler with 22 points. Detroit will take a 4-and-8 record to Brooklyn for tomorrow afternoon’s game against the Nets.

The major news from last night’s action around the league centered on Bulls’ former MVP Derrick Rose, who had to exit early with another knee injury as the Trail Blazers pulled out victory over Chicago. Rose limped to the sideline late in the third quarter and was helped to the locker room to get his right knee examined. It was in his left knee that Rose tore his ACL, costing him the entire 2012-13 season.
