EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) -The Michigan State Spartans and Ohio State Buckeyes will meet in the Big Ten Championship Game on December 7th at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts. Michigan State topped Northwestern 30-6 Saturday to win the Legends Division. Ohio State defeated Indiana 42-14 Saturday to clinch the Leaders Division. The winner earns a trip to the Rose Bowl as the Big Ten's representative to play the winner of the Pac-12 title game.
Michigan's defense did everything it could to steal a football game on Saturday gaining just 158 yards of total offense and wasting four turnovers, and a defensive score, Saturday in a 24-21 loss at Iowa. The Wolverines are home next week to take on Ohio State.
