BLOOMINGDALE (WKZO) -- An Allegan man has now been charged with 9 counts, after he touched off a manhunt in western Van Buren County last week.
It started when officials say 32-year-old Michael Warner sheared off his tether and led police on a high speed chase through two counties.
Dozens off officers, helicopters, and K-9’s spent two days searching for him. He was finally tracked down to a pole barn, where he was taken into custody, cold, hungry and exhausted.
Warner has been charged with 7 felonies including two gun counts, fleeing and eluding, resisting, home invasion, larceny and a couple of misdemeanors.
He will likely face additional charges in Allegan County, and because he is a repeat offender who was already on parole, he will likely do additional time.
He is being held on a quarter million dollars bond.
