DEARBORN (WKZO) -- Triple A of Michigan no sooner released their weekly survey of gas prices in the state, than suddenly those prices started rising again, for the second time in a week.
It prompted Nancy Cain at AAA to try to find out why they were suddenly on the rise. She says it appears to have been due to refinery issues.
Cain thinks it will be short lived for that reason.
She says its been tougher to gather information lately because a lot of it comes from the Energy Information Agency, which is run by the U.S. Government, and it's shut down.
She says it appears to be a refinery near Toledo area that is having issues.
