BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- The women’s soccer team at Kellogg Community College is forfeiting its last three games because they are so riddled with injuries that they don’t have enough team members left to effectively compete.
Their last games were to be played this weekend and on Wednesday.
They started the season with 17 players but only have ten left. To play they would have to go without substitutes and team officials say it’s a safety issue.
The team was 2 and 11 this season, but they will give it another go next year
