LANSING (WKZO) -- On a vote of 35 to 3, the Michigan Senate has approved a six-bill package that would fix ATM’s at Strip Clubs, liquor stores and race-tracks so they could not process Bridge Card transactions.
Casino ATM’s have already been addressed by a separate law.
West Michigan Senator John Proos says it’s to prevent abuse.
The package of bills now heads to the State House.
New federal guidelines require that states pass such laws or risk loosing some federal funding.
