VAN BUREN COUNTY (WKZO) -- The Van Buren County Marine division had a busy Saturday night, arresting four drunken boaters. The first was a 46-year-old from South Haven who was investigated after he crashed his Cabin Cruiser into his dock at about 5:15 p.m.
About two hours later on Three Mile Lake, the operator of a pontoon boat with 10 on board was arrested after he was found to be intoxicated during a routine equipment check. The 46-year-old from Lombard, Illinois was cuffed and hauled off to jail.
So were the operators of two other Pontoon boats from Portage. One was 28-years old and piloting the boat on Keeler Lake, the other was a 45-year-old who refused to take a breathalyzer. He was arrested two hours later on Three Mile Lake,
