Sara Evans is back with her first single in a year, "Slow Me Down." Though she didn't have a hand in writing it, Sara identifies with the song's message of taking things slowly at the beginning of a love affair.
"I love songs that evoke emotion -- it really is what connects people to the music," Sara says. "When we went into the studio to record ["Slow Me Down"] my main goal was to capture the desperation and passion in the song -- to strike a balance between a strong vocal and the emotion that would pull in the listener."
"Slow Me Down" is the lead single from Sara's new studio album, due out early next year. She'll play her first shows in Australia next month.
