KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo Public Safety is looking for witnesses to an off-campus party that ended with a shooting.
It happened at the Phi Beta Sigma house in Fraternity Village just off West Michigan Avenue early Sunday morning.
Uninvited guests reportedly appeared and were asked to leave, and that sparked a fight.
The building sustained damage and a 20-year-old from the Kalamazoo area was shot in the leg just before 2 a.m. in the parking lot.
A woman also suffered a back injury, believed to be caused by flying glass. She was also 20 and from the Kalamazoo area. Neither were students at Western. It’s being investigated.
