Billy Currington entered a no contest plea in a Savannah, GA court Friday to charges of threatening a 70-year-old tour captain. Has been sentenced to five years probation, a $1,000 fine and mandatory anger management counseling. According to ABC affiliate WJCL , prosecutors dropped the charge of making terroristic threats against Currington in exchange for the plea.
The charges stem from an incident last April when Captain Charles Ferrelle passed by Currington's house on Tybee Island, GA while giving a tour. Currington apparently became angry, started yelling at the people on the tour and began following them in his boat. Once the boats docked, Currington apparently followed the boat and began screaming profanities and threatening to harm Ferrelle.
