COLUMBUS, INDIANA (WKZO) -- The search will resume this morning on the Flatrock River in southern Indiana for a Kalamazoo man who is presumed drowned.
27-year-old Enrique Quinonez was in a Kayak with a friend when they capsized about 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
The other man was able to pull him to a tree but Quinonez, who could not swim and was not wearing a life jacket, lost his grip and was swept away in the fast current.
They used sonar on the river until it got dark last night, the current was too swift for divers to go in.
Recovery teams will be back out on the river Monday.
