ARLINGTON, TX - Two of the more storied programs in NCAA basketball history clash for the men’s national championship tonight. Connecticut meets Kentucky at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Seventh-seeded UConn is in search of their fourth title after last winning it all in 2011. The eighth seeded Wildcats captured the title two years ago and are going for a ninth championship, which would put them two behind UCLA for the most all-time. Tonight's game marks the first time a seven and eight seed will meet for the title. Meanwhile, the women's national championship game will be contested Tuesday night between a pair of unbeatens for the first time ever after 39-0 Connecticut and 37-0 Notre Dame both rolled to easy wins in last night’s semi-finals in Nashville. Connecticut downed the Fighting Irish in last year's Final Four en route to their eighth national championship.
