KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo City Manager Jim Ritzema says homeowners should continue to leave a faucet running for a few more weeks.
He says they just recently had another line at another home freeze, bringing the total for the season to 310 lines. He says homeowners don’t have to worry about the cost.
They plan to bill for these months using last year’s meter readings.
Communities all over the Midwest had to deal with the deep deep freeze going much further into the soil than is typical.
Ritzema updated City Commissioners on the issue last night.
